Apache Software Foundation Projects:
- Apache Axis C++ - C++ Web Services Engine. LSF Apache committers built this from scratch and continues to lead this project
- Apache AXIS Java 2
- Phase to of Apache's Java Web Services Engine. LSF Apache committers
took on the major role in contributing code for Phase AXIS Java II
- Sandesha - WS-Reliable Messaging Implementation. LSF Apache committers built this from scratch and continue to lead the project
- Mirae - JSR 172 J2ME FOSS implementation. Built from scratch and lead by LSF committers
- EWS - Enterprise Web Services
- Kandula - WS Atomic Transactions implementation
General FOSS contributions
- Sahana
- Shahana Disaster Management Project initiated following recent Asian
Tsunami. Built from scratch on the LAMP stack by LSF, LKLUG and host of
other Sri Lankan Companies
- Prozilla - is a download accelerator for Linux which gives you a 200% to 300% improvement in your file downloading speeds. Prozilla was authored and lead by a Sri Lankan
Custom Linux Distributions Made in Sri Lanka:
- Taprobane - Sri Lankan built Preconfigured Debian GNU/Linux based LiveCD installer
- Sinhala Knoppix - Localized Knoppix Live CD in Sinhalese
- Grappix - Multimedia based distro
- Sinhala Mepis - Localized Mepis in Sinhalese
