by Tushar Abraham Mathew last modified 2006-11-01 06:32 PM

The latest version of Nepalinux has been released.

Monday, 30th October - Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya released the localized Linux Distribution, NepaLinux 1.0 in December 2005. Since it was a pioneering attempt in localization, it was bound to consist of several shortcomings. Hence, they had announced it as a beta version or a testing version. The new release NepaLinux 1.1 is a relatively bug-free and revised version of the previous beta release. In the new release, considerable attention and care has been given inorder to fix the bugs and technical difficulties that prevailed in the earlier release. Hence the development of NepaLinux 1.1 has been greatly guided by the feedbacks and suggestions put forward by the end-users.
