1. Bi-directional algorithm "Unicode Interconnection" .
• Design and provision of a library of functions to facilitate implementation of bi-directional algorithms and interconnection of Unicode.
• Arrangements of Persian words in order, inaccurate Persian search, requirements of local condition of Iranian Persian.
• Defining the requirements for precise arrangements of words in order according to dictionaries and other references, which is lacking in the national standard.
2. Formal Iranian Calendar
• Exploiting the Jalali Calendar algorithm and conversion of dates according to different calendars, to be used in Linux.

• Authoring Persian documentation including concise administration manual, quick-starter guide and FAQ

5. Iranian Persian keyboard
Removing the problems associated with the Persian Keyboard in the Linux operating system.
6- Typesetting according to Open Type standard and reference font
Adding the ability of displaying Persian text in Linux.
7- Design and producing the Linux CD
Collection and presentation of all the existing features of Persian Linux in a single desktop graphical environment. This is all put together in a CD, which can run on the operating system without having any side effects on it.
8-Investigating the Architecture and the Persian Localization Problems in the Mozilla Software (except in Chatzilla).
• Documentation of the "Mozilla High Level Architecture and Variables" that defines the important and efficient variables of the Persian Linux and their usage.
• Documentation of the "explanation of the Mozilla Persian" Project. This includes a list of all the problems and applications identified in the Mozilla Persian Project (except in the chat software). It also proposes methods of alleviating the problems or extending its usage further through the variables defined in the document of "Mozilla High Level Architecture and Variables".
• List of all the problems encountered and the above-mentioned application in the Mozilla problem management software
9- Specifications and design hints in the Persian GUI.
• Collection and analysis of the GTK information
• Collection and analysis of the Qt information
• Collection and analysis of information at variables required parts of the OpenOffice.
• Collection and analysis of information on the required parts of the Mozilla

10- Extending GNU C Library to include Persian features.
• Generating decimal points in Persian numbers (including forward slash and thousands of Persian Unicode separators.) that can preserve generation of English numbers in the 'locale' of Persian version. It will be used in the 'printf' family via prefix 'I'. This is also true for all the 'printf' functions of other numbers, provided that inclusion of the Persian facilities is done under the framework of ISO-9899 standard.
• Adding the facility to read decimal Persian numbers (including forward slash and thousands of Persian Unicode separators.) in the 'scanf' family. This is also includes all the reading functions of other numbers, provided that inclusion of the Persian features is done under the framework of ISO-9899 standard.
• Adding the facility to recognise the above mentioned abilities in the 'gettext' programs and the gnu c compiler (gcc).
• Eliminating the existing problems in the definition of Persian 'locale' in the 'glibc' and their usage for capability defined by the user requirement as far as possible. This will be published as the outcome of the project, under the title of "locale conditions of Iranian Persian" in particular precise arrangement of Persian.
11- Reference dictionary for translation of Linux environment
• The reference dictionary should include all the vocabularies used in the menus and messages of the desktop environment of both GNIME and KDE. This should also include all the vocabularies used in GNOME variables and the visual icons.

12-Adding Persian support to Aspell
• Definition of the advanced icalender to include Iranian Lunar and Solar calendar (both Persian and English).
• Introduction of an XML framework for the Persian dictionary and introduction of the impact tools definitions. (These tools should be the same tools that were used in the aspell definition employed to add Persian variables)
• Three applications patches on the latest version of aspell with the potential:
a. To spell check using the word finder in the dictionary
b. Adding tolls to the Persian database in such a way that when a new word is added to the library, the user should be able to specify and be able to add its derivatives automatically.
c. Implementation of Persian backup in the core of the spellchecker aspell, considering the roots of the Persian words that uses special database of word roots. The final product should be usable in the Kword and gedit softwares. In other words, backup of Persian language to all the aspell interfaces that are used in the above two programs should be added.
• Introducing program Interface (API): Backup of Persian language must be added to the aspell programming interface, that is aspell-dev
• Revisiting the Unicode filter that is used in aspell to backup scenarios such as virtual distance, punctuation and special symbols.
• The user manual for efficient usage of Persian aspell.
13-Extending Novell Evolution to include Persian facilities
• Definition of specifications and special potentials of the Open Source software Novell Evolution and the requirements to make it an Iranian in house product.
• Addition of Lunar and Solar Iranian Calendar and the relevant conversion functions of European to Iranian Lunar and Solar calendar and vice versa. This is done with taking into account of Novell Evolution limitations, to be able to use multi-calendar based on the outcome of the formal Iranian calendar project. This should be fully compatible with the icalender standard.
• Addition of the ability to send and receive e-mails, as far as possible in Persian.
• Exploiting the outcome of the "Bi-directional algorithms, connection and Unicode" and "Arranging Persian words in order, inaccurate Persian search local conditions requirements of Iranian Persian" and "Iranian Persian keyboard" and "typesetting according to the open type standard and reference Pen Projects. This of course is done where these projects are finalized and are approved by the financial supporter of the projects. In this regard all aspects of the international standards like the required RFC, data for testing the implementations will be taken into account.
14- Adding features to PostgreSQL database
• Adding the features or removing the problems for processing of information in Persian according to the Unicode Standard defined in PostgreSQL (if required).
• Adding the facility of search and ordering of words in Persian PostgreSQL, using the functions and tables based on the outcome of "Accurate arrangements of words in Persian".
• Provision for supporting multi-local conditions or various multi-arrangements in one table and one column of the database, such that one can reorder contents of one column according to the specific application requirements or being able to display the content according the various roles of local conditions.
15- Adding features to IMP, Sork, Turba tools in the framework of Horde Software
• A complete description of all the details for Farsification in the Horde software framework, including IMP and Sork, Turbo tools, and translation from right to left.
• Possibility of typing in Persian, use of main font, character set utf8
• Connection to spellchecker.
• Display of data according to the Iranian Formal Calendar, and the ability to search, based on the formal Iranian calendar and other applications that the user is searching based on dates.
• Translation of all the messages in the Horde Software framework, including IMP, Turbo and Sork in the form of a software patch.
• Archiving all the translations and Persian features in the main CVS Folder of the softwares, of the site Horde.org
16-Adding Persian features to MySQL database
• Adding features or removing the problems in the Persian information processing unit according to the Unicode Standard.
• Adding the feasibility of search and arrangement of words in Persian in order with a single collation function, according to the outcome of "Precise Persian Arrangements" project.
17– GNOME GUI translation
- Preparation of technical details for translation of GNOME desktop environment
- Translation of GNOME on basis of release 2.12

- Precise evaluation of project report, study of Mozilla’s architecture and provision of standard test cases for observation of intended bugs to be reported to the Mozilla’s official Bugzilla
- Providing needed patches for the seven reported bugs and their inclusion in Fedora Core’s latest release in a SRPM package
19– KDE GUI translation
- Identifying the problems, making an operational scheme and a full documentation of the details for the KDE translation which includes two stages:
1. Evaluation and planning for translation
2. Study of technical obstacles:
• Stage 1: Removal of obstacles for translation
• Stage 2: Selection of the KDE release for implementation
• Stage 3: Implementing the translation to the candidate release.
20– Design and implementation of a multi-calendar API and architecture .
- Implementation of a multi-calendar architecture in C or C++ and architecture test for Hijri, Jalali and Gregorian calendars
