DESCRIPTION:After the successful organization of regional conferences 
 in the Qom and Kerman provinces\, the regional conference on Linux use
 rs at the west part of the country was held in Hamedan on the 16th Dec
 ember 2004. This conference was organized by the growth centre of Bu-A
 li University and sponsored by the Sharif Advanced Information and Com
 munication Technology Centre\, Hamedan governor office\, Institute of 
 Technical and Professional of Hamedan and Sina Metanat Company\, was h
 eld at the Bu-Ali University Conference room.\n\nThe aim of the confer
 ence is the introduction of the Linux Operating System to the managers
  and leaders of IT at various governmental departments and Universitie
 s as well as IT experts. \n\nThe Hamedan Conference program that was h
 eld on the 16th December 2004\, was as follows\:\nIntroduction to Linu
 x and the history of Linux\, Comparison between Linux and other operat
 ing systems\, Basic installation and framework\, 	Security in Linux an
 d ISPs\,Programming in Linux\, Security framework in Linux.
