The Gonobidyalaya Project
Except for a few private institutions in major cities, most high schools in Bangladesh follow a Bangladeshi government curriculum based on Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite. For this reason, Bangladeshi internet learning centers and curriculum have adhered closely to this platform in Bangladeshi high school. The Gonobidyalaya schools, however, are not subject to this requirement. Given their unique requirements, they have opted to implement the Internet Learning Centers (ILCs) in these schools as the first entirely open source telecenters in Bangladesh.
