Birth of Ubuntu Bangladesh

by Russell John last modified 2006-06-01 06:54 PM

The official local community team of Ubuntu forms in Bangladesh, with the emphasis on promoting Ubuntu Linux to masses.

Comprised of Bangladeshi Ubuntu users, translators and volunteers from all around the country, Ubuntu Bangladesh aims to create a solid platform for Bangladeshi Ubuntu Linux users. The members can learn by helping each other, share ideas and experiences, and most importantly help to promote the use of Ubuntu between home users, offices, and educational institutions.

Bangladeshi Ubunteros are encouraged to subscribe to the official mailing list and use it for all kinds of Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Edubuntu, Xubuntu, and Bengali localization related discussions.

More information about the team can be found on http://www.ubuntu-bd.org.
