The Open Source Camp-4, organized by American International University, Bangladesh and supported by BdOSN completed on Saturday, 9th June 2007. Radio Today act as the radio partner of the camp. 38 participants including 5 faculties from AIUB made the camp a grand success. The students were selected from hundreds of applicants! Besides them a lecturer from IIUC joined the camp to share the organizing challenges. The camp started with an introductory session of all the participants and was conducted by Munir Hasan of BdOSN. Later the camp continued with UBUNTU Installation, configuration and troubleshooting; GCC, Eclipse and other compiler; EDGE/GPRS connectivity, Wikipedia, Localization, SLAX Linux and a competition on Open Office. Mr Arifur Rahman of AIUB directed the camp while Mahay Alam Khan, Taskinoor Hasan Sajid, Belayet Hossain (Wikipedia sysop), Rezaur Sajal, Sabila Enun, Salauddin Pasha, Omar Shehab and Abu Zaher worked as the instructors of the camp.
