The second Open Source Camp, organized by BdOSN ended on Saturday, 28th April 2007. Each day of the 2 day long camp started on 8:30 am and finished after evening (a lunch break;) within). Around 40 teachers and students were invited from various Universities of Bangladesh. Participant showed great enthusiasm throughout the camp and enjoyed the sessions of Munir Hasan. The camp held at IICT premises of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). The participants were from AIUB, AUST, BUET, CU, DU, JU, MBSTU, RU, IUT and RUET. Besides the university participants, two of five Bangla Wikipedia administrators also joined the camp.

Participants had various hands-on sessions on: Ubuntu Installation, Network/Language Configuration, Pidgin IM configuration, GPRS/EDGE connectivity on Linux, SWOT analysis of OSS in Bangladesh. The most interesting part of the camp was debate on OSS vs Close Source and presentation of various topics by the participants. BdOSN distributed Ubuntu 7.04 in the camp along with the SOS wikiCD. The participant were very happy to get the BdOSN T-Shirts.
