- Organized by Relief International - Schools Online, this 5-day long training will provide school teachers with intermediate-level IT skills while simultaneously teaching active educational methodologies. Over the course of the training, participants will learn to use Fedora Core 5, OOo Writer, OOo Impress, OOo Calc, Nvu, KolourPaint, The GIMP, along with digital camera operation and the Internet. Food, accommodation and the training itself will be provided free of cost.

- A wokshop on Bangla Localizaion in OSS. Arranged jointly by BdOSN and Ankur. The objective of the workshop is to prepared the participants for Bangla localization. This free of cost workshop is open for all. However, due to limited seat, only pre registered persons will be allowed in the workshop. The praticipant should have an idea of Open Source and must know how to write Unicode based Bangla in computer. Interested person should apply to Bd_osn(at)yahoo(dot)com.

- This boot camp is organized to localize Open Office dot org in Bangla. However, this camp is the trial for a future camp to estimate the efficiency of the campers. This is the follow up activity of the Localization workshop held in 22 april 2006. Anyone interested in OSS can join the camp. The camp may be extended in time, if required!
