Collaboration Grants: Call for Applications

The South Asian Node is issuing a Call for Applications for 2 grants of USD4000 each within the sub-region in order to promote ICT4D. The grants will be awarded to the selected applicants upon completion of their project.


Who may apply


Any Organization or Individual with experience in FOSS that/who wishes to develop software relevant for ICT4D in the following sectors -


1)Healthcare

2)E-Governance Framework


The project may be a new initiative or an existing project that may be customized/extended to suite the local environment (Level of extension to be clearly lined out). The selected applicant will preferably have to work at the South Asian node (CDAC, 6/13, Block II, Park Avenue, Keshavaperumalpuram, Chennai-28, India) till the completion and submission of the project. Accomodation and Travel costs will be borne by the node. All other expenses will have to be borne by the applicant.

4th Week – 2nd Report on Project Status

6th Week – Final Submission of Project


Rights

The projects will be released under the GNU GPL or under any other appropriate FOSS license as agreed to by both parties.
