Survey on Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) in the South Pacific report published by Khairil Yusof — last modified 2005-07-27 12:12 PM

A survey funded by the ICT Capacity Building at University of South Pacific project on knowledge, awareness and usage of FOSS in Pacific Island countries found several issues such as lack of awareness and lack of support structure preventing the adoption of FOSS in the region. It introduces why FOSS is important for the region and recommendations on how these issues can be overcome.
