Linux Distributions
Up one levelThere are various Linux distributions that can be downloaded without charge or purchased from the vendor. Each of these distributions consist of the Linux operating system and utilities together with numerous other FOSS applications such as web server, email server, office productivity suite, web browser, etc. Examples of Linux distributions are Red Hat, Debian, Mandrake and Red Flag. Most of the distributions come with installation utilities that facilitates the installation process.
