First ever Open Source Support centre in Dhaka

Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) has opened its open Source Support centre in Dhaka.

Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) has opened its Open Source Support centre in Dhaka.The centre, the first of its kind, is expected to cater the long cherished dream of Open Source enthusiastic in the country, Munir Hasanof BdOSN told the Bytesforall News.
The centre started its operation on 31 May 2007 in a simple inaugural ceremony by providing service to a university student.Initially the centre will remain open on Saturday and Thursday from 3  pm to 6 pm. Taskinoor Rahman, a BdOSN volunteer in charge of the centre,explained that one can collect Cds, books and other materials related to Open Source and Open Content from the centre. He mentioned that they will provide some hands-on support to the user as well.


The centre is located at BdOSN office at 291 Sonargaon Road , Third Floor,
