SFD in Basilan
The Mindanao Open Source Society together with the
COMTECH Institute Inc and D’COMTECHIAN has successfully celebrated the
FOSS@CLASS, an introductory to FOSS applications and GNU/Linux in
connection with the Software Freedom Day 2008 celebrations at COMTECH
Institute, Basilan on September 27, 2008. The event had 67 attendees
including the organizers and guest speakers. The delegates came from
different schools and organizations in Basilan, namely the COMTECH
Institute Inc., Furigay College Inc, Claret College of Isabela,
Universidad De Zamboanga and Philhealth Isabela.
