IOSN and InWEnt-Capability Building Germany are offering the Linux Professionals Institute (LPI) Community Exams in Manila on October 21, 2006. This is the first LPI Community Exams in Manila.
The certification exams are open to the public. Attending the preceding Linux Training workshop is not a requirement.
Examinations
There will be 2 examinations of 90 minutes each on the 21st of October.- LPI 101 <time to be specified>
- LPI 102 <time to be specified>
Please ensure that you have registered online at the LPI website for your LPI ID, you will need to write and remember this number in order to take the exam. Registratoin for LPI ID is free.
Please also ensure that you pay the equvilent of 1750 Pesos per paper before the cut off date of Friday 6th October.
Participants only need to bring pencils and an eraser to the exam.
Only those who pass both exams will get LPIC 1 Certification from LPI. Results will be notified directly by LPI within a month.
