Application Requirement - Must be citizen of Myanmar - Age between 22-40 years old (as of 1st April' 2006) - Must have at least 2 years of work experiences. - Must have a Bachelor's Degree - Must be a staff or a member who are actively participating of NGO. - Can be eligible to get study-leave or deputation for full period of study before the departure. - Should be proficient in English. - Must be in good health.

Basic Foundation of JDS - The aims of the JDS project are to assist in the development of human resources who can, soon after their return to their home countries, play an important role in the development of Myanmar through their significant and immediate involvement in core administrative affairs such as policy formulation, as well as contribute to the broadening and strengthening of friendly relations between Myanmar and Japan. - Therefore, JDS fellows are obligated to return to Myanmar without delay and to make important contribution to the HGO with the acquired knowledge and skills after they come back to Myanmar with their Master's Degree. - JDS fellow are NOT allowed to apply for, or to take exams on, Doctor Course during their study as JDS fellows in Japan.
