MAMPU OSS Industry/Community Participation Dialogue Session
The Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU), would like to invite Malaysians to attend a dialogue session with MAMPU on the subject of The Malaysian Public Sector Open Source Software Initiative.
The objective of the dialogue is:
- To present the Public Sector's OSS Master Plan to interested members of the private sector and the OSS community. The Master Plan covers the vision and mission of the Initiative, as well as the objectives, policies, strategic thrusts and targets.
- To invite active participation and input from the participants during this dialogue. A discussion on the Master Plan, the direction of the Government of Malaysia and other matters related to the development of OSS is welcomed.
- To put forward ideas and suggestions on improving the usage and development of OSS within the public sector, the private sector and the community at large.
The date for this dialogue is yet to be set. This is mainly because MAMPU needs to have an idea of the number of people interested to attend so that they can organise a suitable place. MAMPU intends to be inclusionary, rather than exclusionary and therefore hope to be able to accommodate everyone.

If the number of interested people is very large, we may elect to have more than one session. Once the date(s) and place(s) has been confirmed, a formal invite will be posted on the website. You will also receive individual invites.
