This event will bring together FOSS practitioners and users with visual disabilities

The morning session is facilitated by a domain expert and they come up with a framework for evaluating FOSS software with regards to accessibility for visually disabled users. Then in the afternoon, the FOSS facilitator takes over and demonstrates the various FOSS solutions that are available. Then the domain experts are guided (handson) on the different FOSS solutions and gives scores and feedback to the tools using the morning's framework.

This workshop is being locally organised by the FOSS Society Malaysia.

I think Klaus Knopper should be invited to this workshop since I think he is already working on a special Knoppix version designed for visually disabled.

While IOSN provided some funding, this was essentially a local workshop. Hopefully the feedback can be used so that we could have an accessibility BoF or session at a regional FOSS even this year.
