MKJB Linux Users
MKJB as a primier technical institution in Brunei Darussalam promoting LINUX and FLOSS for use in classes and back end system for web server, emails, anti-spam, anti-virus and firewall in general. Share experiences the use of LINUX and FLOSS in particular UBUNTU for a typical LINUX system setup in an educational environment.
MKJB has been using RedHat Fedora, SUSE 9 Enterprise and UBUNTU as their back end server system and LINUX and FLOSS utilities and tools in class teaching. Linux has been used in Data Communications and Programming classes.
Joomla is used as the CMS for the college portal and promoting the use of Moodle as the Learning Management System.
