Beneficiaries
Immediate beneficiaries of the IOSN are the Asia-Pacific Free/Open Source Software (FOSS) R&D community, software developers, governments, NGO community, academics, and technicians. The resource center will be central in helping policy and decision-makers, educational institutions and others develop plans for Free/Open Source software in their respective organisations. Decision-makers and Goverments will benefit from the knowledge capital and resources of such a Network. Finally, other beneficiaries include independent researchers and programmers seeking work. IOSN will be a Free/Open Source software hub for governments, institutions, and individuals.
