Making Wireless PC Cards work in Linux and Connect to the Internet via GPRS/EDGE

Wireless pc cards kit provided by 3G/GPRS/EDGE internet connection service providers are bundled only with install applications for MS Windows. Users now need not use their wireless pc cards in MS Windows only. There are some sites now that provide instructions on how to make their pc cards work on the Linux OS.

Here's a website where they can get instructions on how to make their wireless pc cards work on Ubuntu and Debian including connecting to the Internet using the command line or the GUI apps GPRS Easy Connect. Although the instruction is for the Sierra Wireless AirCard 775, it should also work for other Sierra Wireless AirCard models or brands with a little revision on some of the configurations.
