Bangla Digit Recognition OCR Released
Source codes and related screenshots and documentation of Bangla digit
recognition OCR has been uploaded into https://sourceforge.net/projects/open-bangla-ocr/
under MIT license. This is a part of BDOSDN (Bangladesh Open Source
Development Network) initiative to contribute in development of a
comprehensive open source Bangla OCR.
This OCR had been developed using MATLAB in Windows environment. Interested people can go to the link above and download the source codes.
This OCR (named "DU Bangla OCR") is a project of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka and had been developed by Syed Monowar Hossain and Amin Ahsan Ali in 2003. Both of them are now lecturer of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka.
