Society will host the 1st biggest I.T. event in Isabela City,
Basilan, Philippines dubbbed FOSS@CLASS in connection with the
celebration of Software Freedom Day 2008 with co-organizer COMTECH
Institute Isabela Branch and the I.T. Organization of the school
D'COMTECHIAN. The event will be held at the COMTECH Institute Isabela
on September 20, 2008.
The event will also be endorsed by the Commission of Higher
Education, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, and
Department of Science and Technology. This is the actually 1st biggest
I.T. event happening in Isabela City that will orient the fellow
Basileño about Free and Open Source Software.
