UNDP is going to organize a 4-day workshop as part of its Open Source Campaign on 27-30 September, 2007. The training on Free and Open Source Solutions (FOSS) will take place at New Horizons Computer Learning Center, Dhaka and will be participated by more than 40 participants from 15 different organizations, including Grameen Phone CIC, Katalyst, D.Net etc.
UNDP is going to organize a 4-day workshop as part of its Open Source Campaign on 27-30 September, 2007. The training on Free and Open Source Solutions (FOSS) will take place at New Horizons Computer Learning Center, Dhaka and will be participated by more than 40 participants from 15 different organizations, including Grameen Phone CIC, Katalyst, D.Net etc.One of the major objectives of this ToT (Training of Trainers) is to have some trainers to implement open source software in their respective organizations and persuade others to follow their suits.
Prominent educationist Professor Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, Mr. K. A. M. Morshed, Programme Manager, E-Governance and Development Cluster,UBNDP Mr. Munir Hasan, PIS of Access to Information Programme of UNDP Bangladesh will attend this workshop to inspire the participants to effectively implement Free Open Source Solutions (FOSS).
