Bangladesh Open Source Network completed its month long awareness and enrichment campaign for Bangla Wikipedia in February 2008. The month long activities included several wiki adda (One held in National Book Fair), translation camp, awareness building through massive campaign in Bangladesh mathematical Olympiad etc. The month also marked some article enrichment as well. The introduction of the Bangla Wiki fellow was also a milestone that was achieved in this month. However, the most successful activity of the month was the displaying of Bengali Language Movement article in the first page of the English wikipedia on 21st February, The International Mother Language Day. On that BdOSN organized a procession in the street of Dhaka and arranged a rally in front of the nation's biggest book fair - Omar Ekushe Book Fair. Bangla Wiki's volunteers distributed leaflets, explained wikipedia and also made some translations for Bangla wikipedia. The concluding decision of the Bangla Wiki Month was to publish a Bangla Wikipedia CD by December 2008. SUST OSN, a local Open Source Network at Sylhet also organized a similar programme.
